At LINKS Groupwork Service, we believe in the power of connection. In this role, you will help us bring parents, carers and children together in safe, trauma-informed spaces, delivering inclusive group programs that not only inform but transform lives. Through parenting and domestic abuse groups, you will foster healing, growth and empowerment for families across Wandsworth. LINKS also deliver Family Group Conferences and Lifelong Links, however this role is specific to groupwork.

As a Senior Groupworker, you will be the heartbeat of our mission – leading, co-facilitating and shaping the journey of families in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals across the borough. You won’t just deliver groups – you will be a mentor, a guide and a force for change. You will ensure the highest standard of groupwork delivery for children, young people and their families by demonstrating a thorough understanding of how intersectionality such as poverty, gender and race can impact families.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Experience of delivering evidence-based group work with parents and children.
  • Significant and substantial experience in the co-ordination, development and delivery of group work including planning, evaluation, quality assurance and the ability to evidence the impact of groupwork.
  • Experience of direct work with parents, carers and children.
  • Experience of multi-agency and partnership working.
  • Relevant qualifications e.g., Youth Work, Early Years, Social Work (desirable).
