Salary Range: SSA Scale 6 £32,841 - £39,796

18 months fixed term appointment: Full Time

Other essential information: Hybrid across Richmond and Wandsworth minimum of 1 day a week in the office.

Objective of role

Wandsworth and Richmond Councils have an exciting opportunity within their Local Land Charges Team, we are recruiting a Local Land Charges Administrative Officer. The Local Land Charges Administrative Officer will ensure the Councils continue to deliver an excellent service to customers and residents. You will support the Local Land Charges Officers within the team by answering both internal and external questions regarding the service, validating and recording searches amongst other tasks, ensuring our search turnaround times remain low.

About the role

You will have working knowledge of office administrative systems, with a clear understanding of IT systems and preferably also GIS Systems. You will also have experience of delivering a service in client support and/or customer services environment.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge: working knowledge of office administrative systems and processes.
  • IT Systems: Clear understanding of IT systems generally including Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and GIS systems (desirable).
  • Data inputting: Ability to deal effectively with numbers and data and to produce and interpret management information.
  • Organisational Skills: Effective organisational skills to meet work demands often with competing and changing deadlines.
  • Customer Service: Experience of delivering a service in a client support and/or customer services environment.
