Architectural Technologist / Technician to join their growing team based in the New Forest area.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technologist / Technician with around 3-5 years' experience to become part of a collaborative team working with one of the practice's major clients.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, you'll be involved in delivering projects currently progressing through RIBA Stage 4 and into construction.

The role offers the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of residential (including mixed-use and larger-scale developments), community and commercial projects, using the latest BIM technologies within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.

The role

  • As part of an experienced project team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings and construction information using Revit.
  • Support projects through the technical design and construction phases.
  • Prepare detailed design information, planning and Building Regulations submissions.
  • Produce tender packages, drawings, schedules and specifications.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and statutory authorities.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase.
  • Attend project and site meetings, ensuring projects are delivered on programme.

About you

You will ideally have

  • Around 3-5 years' experience as an Architectural Technician within a UK practice.
  • Experience working on residential (including mixed-use or larger-scale developments), community or commercial projects within the UK.
  • Strong Revit skills (essential) and experience working within a BIM environment.
  • Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
  • Experience preparing technical drawing packages and construction information.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
