Responsibilities

  • Operate one or more CNC machines in the Cell.
  • Complete daily machine health checklists.
  • Manage traveler bookings and documents in the Cell.
  • Stamp own work.
  • Report non-conformances (NCRs).
  • Assist with other duties at the discretion of the Production Team Leader.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
  • Participate in training when required.
  • Minimise scrap components.
  • Mentor and support new staff or apprentices in the Machine Shop.
  • Collaborate with the Production Team Leader and Production Manager to establish key delivery dates and requirements.
  • Communicate workshop issues to the CNC Setter/Charge Hand and Production Team Leader.
