About Lazard Private Capital Advisory (PCA) Lazard PCA is a global business within Lazard’s Financial Advisory division with offices in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The team has over 100 professionals in two core markets: private capital raising and private capital solutions.

Private Capital Raising: Raising capital for private equity, real estate, credit and infrastructure fund managers. With two specialized teams—Transaction Management and Investor Coverage—our group collaborates globally to deliver targeted and effective capital-raising strategies.

Private Capital Solutions: Advising (i) institutional investors seeking liquidity from alternative investments, or (ii) alternative investment managers seeking to recapitalize or restructure an existing investment vehicle.

Position Overview As an intern with Lazard PCA’s Private Capital Raising group, you will join the Transaction Management team, working on live fundraisings across private equity, real estate, credit, and infrastructure. You will work closely with Analysts and Associates to support multiple fund manager clients, each of which is likely at a different phase of the fundraising process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the positioning of the client’s investment strategy and the preparation of marketing materials, including investor presentations and due diligence materials.
  • Preparing responses to institutional investor due diligence requests.
  • Tracking investor feedback and updating databases.
  • Managing logistics for fundraising roadshows and meetings.
  • Monitoring market activity to support client communications.
  • Analyzing financial data and qualitative information as part of due diligence on, and preparing pitch materials for, prospective clients.
