Responsibilities
- Research, analyse and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data, including financial modelling
- Conduct company and industry analysis for new transaction opportunities
- Assist with execution of transactions in an efficient manner
- Prepare presentations and marketing materials for clients and prospects with senior input
- Identify issues in transactions and assist in due diligence
- Develop commercial views considering both big-picture and details
- Manage own work for accuracy, quality, and grammar
- Support senior bankers with reports and analyses on an ad hoc basis
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives including recruiting, training, and professional development
Key requirements
- Previous employment as a financial analyst at a reputable financial services firm such as an investment bank
- Genuine interest in Equity Capital Markets
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrable execution support abilities
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Self-motivation and resilience with ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to take initiative and work independently while collaborating with the team
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients at all levels
- Aware of the regulatory environment
- High standards of professional and ethical conduct
- Minimum 2.1 university degree classification
