Lazard is a place of continuous knowledge sharing, skill development and relationship building, where professionals grow and succeed together.

Our entrepreneurial culture, flat structure and embrace of individual differences, allow creative ideas, original concepts, and unique perspectives to drive our business forward — and for careers to take flight.

We pride ourselves in uncovering the best investment opportunities for our clients.

The purpose of our asset management business is to help our clients invest for the future — whether it’s for retirement, to grow and preserve inter-generational wealth, or to benefit the organizations that make our world smarter, healthier and more sustainable.

Role Profile

The Lazard Asset Management Marketing team shapes how the firm shows up for clients around the world, across every channel and touchpoint.

We’re looking for an experienced, imaginative Designer to help lead this effort: someone who can set the foundations for how Lazard looks and feels, build the strategic roadmap to bring that vision to life, and partner directly with colleagues across investment, sales, channel marketing and the broader marketing team to deliver work that drives real commercial impact.

This is a rare opportunity to shape design strategy from the ground up.

You’ll bring a sharp eye, a systematic approach and genuine curiosity to every brief, translating complex, data-rich content into elegant, sophisticated visual stories – and acting as a trusted connector across the firm to get the best work made.

This is a day rate contract position.

  • We’ll Trust You To
  • Demonstrate expertise in design execution across the firm’s marketing content, showcasing mastery of typography, layout, hierarchy and grid systems.
  • Elegantly present a wide variety of dense, complex information while maintaining a high level of sophistication and taste.
  • Own design problems and projects end-to-end – solving them autonomously and managing your own priorities with confidence.
  • Bring fresh thinking to every brief, drawing on industry best practice and best-in-class inspiration to keep Lazard’s design ahead of the curve.
  • Build on and evolve Lazard’s brand guidelines and templates, ensuring consistency across grid, typography, colour, hierarchy and data visualisation.
  • Work quickly and accurately with a systematic approach, so no project ever starts from a blank page.
  • Partner confidently across departments – reaching out for input, chasing down details, and flagging issues and roadblocks early.
  • Stay closely tuned in on calls and in meetings, capturing what matters and following up to keep projects moving.
  • Prepare digital assets, layout specifications and implementation-ready guidance to support our web team.
  • Manage, refine and maintain Power Point presentations, ensuring every deck reflects the clarity, visual quality and brand consistency Lazard is known for.
  • You’ll Need To Have
  • Proven experience in Figma, In Design, Illustrator and Power Point.
  • A talent for building complex charts and data visualisations that make information effortless to absorb.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating across multiple teams and levels of seniority.
  • Outstanding organisational skills – setting, meeting and re-prioritising schedules with good judgement.
  • Examples of work for large, high-quality or well-known brands.
  • A creative, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with emerging generative AI tools for image creation and editing is a plus.
  • Representation at Lazard
