Portfolio Implementation Analyst â 12 month fixed term contract
We'll trust you to:
- Support the implementation of portfolio manager decisions across client portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely execution of investment strategies and client guidelines.
- Assist with portfolio rebalancing, trade order preparation, postâtrade reconciliation.
- Monitor cash levels, flows, and corporate actions to ensure portfolios remain aligned with target allocations.
- Work closely with portfolio managers, traders, operations, client services and compliance to facilitate smooth implementation.
- Help identify and resolve breaks, discrepancies, or operational issues impacting portfolio implementation.
- Coordinate effectively with global colleagues across regions and time zones to ensure consistent and timely implementation, issue resolution, and operational alignment.
- Maintain and enhance operational processes, documentation, and controls with a strong focus on risk reduction.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives, including use of data tools and technology.
The role will involve working 1â2 early shifts per week (7am start â WFH).
Youâll need to have:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in investment management, portfolio implementation, trading support, operations, or a comparable oversight/controlâoriented function.
- High attention to detail with a demonstrated sense of ownership, accountability, and followâthrough in a controlâfocused environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with Portfolio Managers, Trading, Operations, and Compliance.
- Experience with order management or portfolio management systems (e.g., Charles River) preferred; willingness to learn and adapt to new systems required.
