Interior Designer Role
Layrd Design is a bold and fast-growing commercial interior design studio seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team. Work on inspiring projects ranging from stadium interiors to boutique wellness spaces, creating environments that perform as well as they look.

The Role:
As an Interior Designer, you will take a hands‑on approach to projects, from developing initial mood boards and concept designs to overseeing on-site installations. This is a full-time position offering a blend of in‑studio collaboration and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support design projects for all sectors from concept to completion.
- Develop and present compelling mood boards, concept designs, and detailed drawings.
- Create compelling visuals for projects and tender bids.
- Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the design vision is realised.
- Attend and lead site meetings, managing on‑site trades to ensure timely and on‑budget delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio in commercial interior projects.
- Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong technical skills in space planning, construction detailing, and FF&E specification.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Confidence in managing on‑site trades and suppliers.
