Working within a smaller team within a big organisation, our client is looking for an experienced Senior Freight Forwarding Operations Clerk who is competent in multi-modal forwarding.

You will be responsible for:

1. Supporting the Management with the organisation and coordination of the import department.
2. Optimisation of processes and procedures across Air, Road, Ocean, & Cross Trade movements.
3. Securing a high level of customer satisfaction while complying with customer-specific processes and procedures.
4. Customer support and consulting as well as acquisition of new customers.
5. Coordination of subordinate employees in technical and operational aspects.
6. Ensuring accurate and on-time processing of department billing.
7. Optimising and securing the documentation of procedures and processes.
8. Supporting and advising customers.
9. Preparation of calculations, analyses, and presentations.
10. Carrying out customs clearance.
11. Handling correspondence with customers, agents, and service providers.
12. Executing all shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
