Due to our rapidly expanding client base, we need more Chefs! We pay great rates, from £10 per hour up to £12 for most jobs. Sometimes, you could even start tomorrow.

If the job is away from home, you will ALWAYS get free accommodation from the client, this is one of our rules for providing agency chefs. If you don't drive, we can help you get around, providing travel info and being flexible with start and finish times.

It does mean you will be employed by us and will need to be flexible as evenings, weekends and bank holidays will be part of the rota. As a Layer Cake employee, you will be expected to behave like a representative when attending jobs. Keep your head down, work, go home, get money. Simples. We promise, there is no catch. You're not there to change the menu or the service, just smile, nod and crack on.

Self employed chefs are more than welcome (better rates can be discussed if you are self employed, usually starting at £12 an hour). DO NOT USE UMBRELLA COMPANIES.

Please let us know if you drive and have your own transport.
