We are seeking an experienced VP‑level eDiscovery professional to join a large, complex organisation on an interim basis, covering a key gap while a permanent hire is identified. This is a high‑impact role working at the centre of eDiscovery operations and strategic transformation.
The Role
- You will take ownership of a core eDiscovery function, leading both people and platform change.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of 9, including secondees, managing retrievals for all e‑communications, OneDrive, and SharePoint requests.
- Overseeing the migration from EV to Global Relay, including retrieval, testing, and stakeholder coordination.
- Managing the build and evolution of Microsoft Purview eDiscovery, including Evergreen changes and their broader impact.
- Acting as a key liaison with Technology, Compliance, Records, and external vendors (including Microsoft and Global Relay).
- Leading the testing and onboarding of new data sources and communication channels, ensuring eDiscovery requirements are fully met.
About You
- Proven eDiscovery expertise within a large, regulated or complex environment.
- Strong team leadership experience, comfortable managing mixed internal and external resources.
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to operate at senior level across legal, compliance, technology, and operations functions.
- Hands‑on, delivery‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment.
