An exciting opportunity for an Export Counsel to join one of LOD’s longest standing clients for a period of 12 months. The role involves managing the Company's Export Compliance Programme for EMEA, covering both export controls and sanctions. This includes but is not limited to:
- Working closely with the Company's Logistics teams by providing legal advice and support to facilitate the export of physical goods from jurisdictions across EMEA.
- Obtaining export licenses and completing exporter registrations and drafting and reviewing export related policies and procedures.
- Providing ongoing EMEA export compliance support to projects and teams across the Company, including responding to ad hoc export control and sanctions queries.
- Advising on the application of encryption controls in EMEA.
- Providing EMEA Export Compliance training to relevant teams.
This assignment is due to start as soon as possible and is expected to run for 12 months. Ideally you will be working full time, although we can consider 4 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a great team!
