Commercial & Corporate Lawyer (Energy Sector)
PQE: 5-10 Years

We are working with a leading organisation within the energy sector seeking an experienced Commercial & Corporate Lawyer to join its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to work on complex and high-profile matters supporting a dynamic and evolving business.
The Role
You will provide strategic legal advice across a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and business teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
- Advising on corporate transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic projects.
- Supporting energy-related projects, infrastructure developments, and commercial initiatives.
- Experience advising on energy, infrastructure, engineering, and construction projects, including the negotiation of construction and project-related agreements, would be highly advantageous.
- Providing legal guidance on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to the sector.
- Managing external counsel where required.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks while supporting commercial objectives.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction).
- Approximately 5-10' PQE with strong commercial and corporate law experience.
- Experience gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both.
- Exposure to the energy, utilities, infrastructure, natural resources, or related sectors would be advantageous.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially focused with the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
