We are working with a leading technology client who are looking for a Senior Counsel to join the Safety & Law Enforcement Legal team.

The Safety & Law Enforcement Legal team provides critical support across Trust & Safety, Law Enforcement Operations, Product, Engineering, Communications, and Policy teams.

This Senior Counsel member must have experience with digital platform and content regulations (such as the E.U. Digital Services Act, U.K. Online Safety Act, and India’s Intermediary Guidelines).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering across their Legal and Policy teams to support regulatory compliance, inquiries, and engagement.
  • Collaborating with their Privacy Legal, Product Legal, Policy, Engineering, Communications, and other internal partner teams to provide guidance and develop policies and tools that enable them to meet increasingly sophisticated and ever-shifting regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with teams across the company — including Policy, Product, Engineering, and others in Legal — on safety- and compliance-related tooling, and developments in surveillance and safety laws.
  • Assist in advising the Safety, Product, and Engineering teams in matters relating to the enforcement of their Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, obligations under platform and content regulations (e.g., E.U. Digital Services Act, U.K. Online Safety Act, and India’s Intermediary Guidelines).

Our assignments are predominantly full time, working on a hybrid model within the London area and surrounding suburbs.
