We’re looking for a mid to senior pensions lawyer to join our client, a leading global law firm, to support their pensions team. You will be supporting with an increased workload and ongoing advisory and transactional work.
The Role
- You’ll work as part of a respected pensions practice, advising on a wide range of both advisory and transactional matters. This is a varied and client‑facing role offering exposure to high‑quality work.
- Advising on defined benefit and defined contribution schemes, including governance and regulatory compliance.
- Supporting on corporate transactions, including M&A and restructurings.
- Assisting with de‑risking projects such as buy‑ins, buy‑outs, and longevity swaps.
- Providing strategic insight on pensions risk management for sponsors and trustees.
- Collaborating with colleagues across employment and incentives teams on cross‑disciplinary matters.
About You
- Mid to senior pensions lawyer with strong technical expertise.
- Background in a leading law firm or in‑house environment.
- Experience advising on complex pensions matters, transactions, and de‑risking projects.
- Confident working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing role.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
This assignment will be full time, starting as soon as possible, and is expected to run for at least 6 months.
