We're looking for an Infrastructure/ Planning Lawyer to join our client, a global technology company, to support them through undergoing significant growth across its EMEA digital infrastructure portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‐performing, international legal team supporting large‐scale development projects at the forefront of cloud and digital expansion.

You'll be supporting the teams infrastructure expansion programme dealing with the increasing volume and complexity of datacentre development projects, managing planning, land use, development, and environmental permitting work on a day to day basis. This is a business‐facing and operational role, where you will be embedded within live projects, helping to drive progress through complex regulatory and planning environments across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on planning, zoning, land use, and environmental permitting strategies for large‐scale infrastructure projects
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and senior business leaders involved in development activities
  • Coordinate and manage external counsel across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, ensuring clear and commercially practical advice
  • Draft, review and negotiate development and infrastructure‐related agreements
  • Identify opportunities to streamline permitting processes and reduce delivery friction
  • Support the development of templates, playbooks, and scalable legal processes
  • Work cross‐functionally to translate legal constraints into practical business decisions
About You
  • Qualified lawyer with significant experience in infrastructure and land development
  • Strong expertise in planning, land use and environmental permitting (EMEA exposure preferred)
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast‐paced, commercial environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering directly with non‐legal teams
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to drive process improvements
