LOD have seen an increase in Data Privacy opportunities from a range of clients across the Media, Technology, FMCG and Professional Services sectors. These positions may see you:
- Assisting with Data Privacy Rights response processes (e.g. requests for access or deletion).
- Assisting with Data Mapping, DPIAs, and Data Protection Regulator enquiries.
- The development of internal policies and guidance for privacy and data governance practices.
- Focusing on the Online Safety Act, including Youth Safety.
- Providing legal advice and day-to-day support to cross-functional groups responsible for auditor, regulator, and third-party relationships.
- Performing legal research and providing practical advice on emerging global privacy regulations, including providing expertise to the policy and government relations team.
The ideal lawyer will be at least 2 years PQE and have experience working within an in-house team, focusing on Data Protection projects. Our assignments are predominantly full time, working on a hybrid model within the London area and surrounding suburbs.
