We are currently working with a large European retailer to bring on an Intellectual Property Lawyer. This will ideally be on a 3 or 4 day a week basis for a minimum 3 to 6 month period.
For this role you will need to be civil law/EU-qualified or have extensive experience dealing with civil law matters.
What the role will involve:

  • Matters around IP, copyright, and trademarks.
  • Monitoring emails on a day-to-day basis for requests.
  • Following up with IP agents in France and Norway, scheduling meetings, making decisions on registering trademarks, and escalating anything to the Global Counsel, if there are any issues.
  • Assisting with drafting NDAs and collaboration agreements.
  • Following up on supply chain questions.
  • Marketing campaigns and assisting with promotions.

This assignment is predominantly remote but some requirements to visit their EU office.
