We’re working with a global bank who require legal support for the next 6 months on a maternity cover. It’s a really exciting and unique opportunity for a mid‑senior lawyer to lead all aspects of loan execution (bilateral and multi‑banked loans). Sitting in the Transaction Management team, you’d be involved in:

  • Advising on transaction structuring and explaining common risks (commercial and legal)
  • Supporting clients and advising internal stakeholders by interpreting legal advice/concepts and explaining associated risks and mitigants
  • Negotiating and agreeing key terms within term sheets and LMA facility agreements, ensuring compliance with their internal policy and relevant credit approvals
  • Project managing loan transactions to execution and act as the key contact for external legal counsel
  • Participating in multi‑party calls covering commercial, legal, and policy issues

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of LMA UK loan documentation and syndicated loans market
  • Confident working autonomously and leading these transactions
  • Open‑minded and willingness to learn, patience when dealing with other stakeholders, and great communication skills to simplify complex concepts
