Founded over 20 years ago, Lawtech has become a leading principal contractor specialising in cladding remediation. We deliver high-quality, compliant, multi-million-pound cladding repatriations & regeneration contracts throughout London and the wider Southeast.

Role Overview

• Create drawings using relevant specifications where Lawtech design is applicable.
• Visit site and site office (3-4 days per week), complete surveys, and take photos to create design drawings.
• Liaise with Design Manager, commercial, and project manager to ensure design is within budget.
• Update drawings based on accurate site survey information.

Role Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and revise assigned drawings.
• Liaise with manufacturers and project teams, including distributing relevant documentation.
• Respond to technical queries and make recommendations to resolve problems.
• Address ad hoc problems and raise issues with D&Q manager accordingly.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor and manage the technical quality of works, ensuring they are carried out as per specifications and manufacturers\’ recommendations.

Key Tasks

• Ensure information is available for site setup in line with Lawtech requirements, from job start to close.
• Visit sites on a planned and ad hoc basis as advised by D&Q manager.
• Attend regular meetings with site teams as required.
• Create fabrication drawings and issue to the buying department for procurement.
• Gather relevant information for standards to pass to clients and funders as appropriate.
• Make recommendations for changes to D&Q manager.

Skills and Qualifications

• Engineering or Architecture-related studies or equivalent experience.
• CSCS card at basic level.
• Experience with facades, EWI, cladding, and rainscreen is essential.

IT Skills

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Expert in AutoCAD; proficiency in 3D AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit is optional.
