Position Overview
As a Yard Manager at Briants of Risborough, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our yard, ensuring efficiency, safety, and exceptional service delivery while managing an enthusiastic team dedicated to achieving company goals.
Location – Green Close Works, Thame Rd, Longwick, Princes Risborough, HP27 9SG
Working Hours – This full-time position entails a 44.5-hour workweek from Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00, and alternate Saturdays from 08:00 to 12:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination and management of yard operations to ensure timely service and high safety standards.
- Maintain a well-organised, efficient, and clean yard environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Manage and train yard staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Facilitate stock control and inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve seamless operational processes.
Qualifications and Skills
