Lawsons Group is seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our AVS Worthing branch as a Telesales colleague. Telesales at AVS Worthing

This Telesales opportunity is ideal for someone who is motivated, people-oriented, and enjoys working with both trade and retail customers to help them get the materials they need.
Working Hours & Location – AVS Worthing
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 44.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday 07:30–17:00, plus alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00.
The role is based at our AVS Worthing branch:
Highdown Industrial Park, Littlehampton Rd, Worthing, BN12 6PG.

Main Responsibilities…
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing expert advice on our full product range, including timber, fencing, and building supplies.
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls in a professional and friendly manner, maximising sales opportunities while focusing on excellent service at all times.
- Prepare accurate quotations, process orders efficiently, and follow up on leads in collaboration with the branch team.
- Work closely with depots, stock, and yard colleagues to ensure prompt delivery and fulfilment of customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, sales activity, and follow-ups using our systems.
- Proactively engage in telesales training, product learning, and development sessions.
- Promote Lawsons Group’s values of inclusion, professionalism, and customer focus in all interactions.
- Contribute to branch targets and team success with a positive, solution-oriented approach.

- Previous telesales, customer service, or call centre experience is essential, ideally in timber, building materials, or related sectors.
