Role Description
The Tenancy / Lettings Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Fulham and South West London Area.
The role involves overseeing the lettings process from initial enquiry through move-in and tenancy management, including marketing properties, conducting viewings, and negotiating offers between landlords and tenants.
The individual will oversee the preparation of tenancy agreements and related documentation alongside our referencing team, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and manage rent reviews, and end-of-tenancy procedures.
Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, coordinating with contractors and internal teams, resolving tenancy issues, and providing responsive customer service to both landlords and tenants.
The role also requires monitoring local market trends, supporting business development, and helping to achieve lettings and revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of landlord/tenant matters and current lettings legislation, with experience handling tenancy queries and disputes.
- Background working with estate agents or in a residential lettings environment, including negotiating offers and managing property listings.
- Experience in property management, including coordinating maintenance, inspections, safety checks, and compliance documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and colleagues.
- Solid understanding of the lettings process from instruction to move-in, including referencing, contracts, rent reviews, and HMOs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with clear written and verbal English and confident negotiation abilities.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
- Competence using property management or CRM software and standard office applications (e. g., email, spreadsheets, document tools).
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities in the local London property market.
- Relevant experience in lettings, property management, or estate agency; professional qualifications (e. g., ARLA or similar) are an advantage.
