An established, UK-listed organisation is expanding its Company Secretarial function and is seeking a Company Secretarial Assistant to support a busy Group Company Secretary and wider Executive team. This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure to listed environments. Ideal for someone looking to deepen their listed-company experience and progress their company secretarial career.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain statutory records for UK group entities
- Ensure all statutory and Companies House filings are accurate and submitted on time
- Draft routine board and committee minutes, resolutions, and governance documentation
- Support the preparation and timely release of regulatory announcements
- Coordinate board and committee meetings, including scheduling, papers, and logistics
- Record actions and follow up on agreed items
- Manage execution and filing of board-approved documentation
- Maintain minute books and action trackers
- Assist with shareholder communications and elements of annual reporting
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Executive team as required
- General company secretarial and administrative support
About You
- Company secretarial experience in a corporate or professional environment
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality written communication
- Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage competing priorities
- Flexible, proactive, and willing to get involved in both routine and project-based work
- Advantageous CGI-qualified or part-qualified (advantageous, not essential)
- Experience with UK listing rules or PLC governance is a strong plus
