Help Shape Smarter Cities Around the World

At Lucy Zodion, we're transforming the way towns, cities and transport networks operate through innovative smart infrastructure technologies. As part of the globally recognised Lucy Group, we combine the stability of an established engineering organisation with the agility and ambition of a growing technology business.

From intelligent street lighting and connected infrastructure to smart city solutions that improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, our technology is helping create safer, greener and more sustainable communities across the world.

As we continue to expand our Ki solutions portfolio, we're looking for a Ki Project Engineer to play a key role in bringing these cutting-edge projects to life.

The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional project engineering role. You'll be at the heart of delivering innovative technology solutions for customers across the UK, Europe and beyond, taking projects from initial order through to installation, commissioning and successful handover.

You'll work closely with customers, contractors, technology partners and internal teams, becoming the trusted lead for project delivery and ensuring every deployment is executed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Whether you're coordinating a smart lighting rollout, supporting a connected infrastructure programme or working alongside customers to solve complex technical challenges, you'll have the opportunity to see the direct impact of your work in communities around the world.

Why Join Lucy Zodion?

  • Work on innovative smart infrastructure and smart city technologies.
  • Influence high-profile projects that support sustainability and decarbonisation.
  • Gain exposure to customers and projects across the UK and internationally.
  • Join a collaborative, forward-thinking business with a strong engineering heritage.
  • Be part of a growing organisation where you can develop your technical and project management expertise while helping shape the future of connected infrastructure.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused professional with a passion for delivering technical projects and building strong stakeholder relationships.

You'll ideally have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering projects within street lighting, Central Management Systems (CMS), smart cities, utilities or related infrastructure sectors.
  • A strong understanding of hardware and software-based technology solutions.
  • Proven project management experience, including planning, reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Experience analysing technical and project data and presenting recommendations clearly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of installation, commissioning and field-testing activities.
  • An understanding of site safety requirements and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • The flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the UK and internationally.

Build Technology That Makes a Difference

If you're looking for a role where you can combine technical expertise, project leadership and customer engagement while contributing to smarter, more sustainable infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.

Join Lucy Zodion and help shape the connected cities of tomorrow.
