A global hedge fund is looking to hire a Compliance Officer to join its Legal & Compliance team based in London. The role involves ensuring that the firm’s operations across the U.K. and Europe comply fully with regulatory requirements. This position provides exposure to a broad array of trading strategies and offers a chance to significantly contribute to the development and execution of the firm’s UK regulatory compliance framework. Key Responsibilities
This role involves engaging with a comprehensive range of regulatory and compliance matters relevant to an investment firm regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Core responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing compliance policies and procedures, providing regulatory advice to investment professionals, and collaborating with legal and compliance teams in the firm’s U.S. and India offices to support trading and investment activities originating in London. The role also encompasses contributing to long-term projects aimed at enhancing the compliance infrastructure and ensuring adherence to both new and existing regulations.
