Overview
Full-Time Office Administrator – Auction House Based In Surrey. We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our busy auction house team on a full-time basis. This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting all aspects of administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing diaries and scheduling appointments for valuers and transport.
- Preparing and typing catalogue entries, receipts, letters, valuations, and emails.
- Handling customer payments and processing transactions accurately.
- Answering incoming calls and providing excellent client service in person and over the phone.
- Supporting auction day operations, including clerking to the auctioneer and managing our computerised bidding platform in real time.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Be confident using IT systems with good typing and accuracy.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Remain calm under pressure, especially during busy auction days.
- Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks as part of a small team.
