Lawrence Sheriff School is a boys’ grammar school with around 1200 students, including a coeducational sixth form of approximately 450 students. The school has National Teaching School status and a Teaching School Hub, enabling initial teacher training and continuous professional development for staff.
The Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer will join the school as we transition from a Single Academy Trust to a Multi Academy Trust. This highly organized professional will provide expert leadership for finance operations at the school level while also contributing to the trust’s wider financial stewardship, compliance and long‑term sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and professional support across Lawrence Sheriff School and the newly forming Multi Academy Trust.
- Manage multiple workstreams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Operate hands‑on when needed while helping leaders plan strategically for the future.
Qualifications
