They have redefined a classic category with a creative twist. They are looking for a Senior Management Accountant / Finance Manager to support their most critical function working alongside a world class CFO.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Prepare reconciliations, postings and analysis to enable a smooth, on-time close
- Own accuracy across ledgers, bank recs and balance sheet areas under remit
- Revenue, receivables & grocery customer management
- Manage revenue completeness via EDI portals
- Take ownership of credit notes, delivery disputes, deductions, rebates and retros
- Liaise directly with grocery customers to resolve issues and collect cash
- Track and reconcile discounts, promotions, trade spend and rebates
- Oversee invoice posting, batch payments and staff expenses
- Identify opportunities to automate and simplify AP processes
- Act as first line of review to ensure strong financial control
- Proactively improve finance processes and support system scalability
- Work closely with the Head of Finance and CFO, as the business scales rapidly

Do you have the following to apply?
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience beyond basic transactional accounting; comfortable owning AR, AP and GL
- FMCG Industry experience preferred with exposure to grocery customers (Tesco, Waitrose, JS etc) ideal (EDI, deductions, rebates, trade spend).
- Confident communicator; willing to challenge, investigate and resolve issues, not just post numbers
- Systems-minded with interest in automation and process improvement
- Curious, coachable and keen to learn, develop and progress
- Highly organised, detail-focused and resilient under pressure
