Job summary
Lawrence House Group is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused Salaried GP to join our well-established and forward-thinking training practice in Haringey. This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who is passionate about delivering high-quality primary care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team consisting of experienced GPs, GP trainers, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals, working together to provide outstanding patient-centred care. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced GPs and offer mentoring, supervision, and opportunities for professional development. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who are available to work on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Job responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, safe, and effective primary care services to registered patients.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Undertake routine and urgent consultations, both face-to-face and remotely as appropriate.
- Manage a clinical caseload effectively and safely.
- Conduct home visits where clinically required.
- Review pathology results, correspondence, and medication requests.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records in accordance with professional standards.
- Participate in practice meetings, educational activities, and clinical governance initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Support quality improvement projects and service development initiatives.
- Contribute to safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of vulnerable patients.
- Participate in Primary Care Network initiatives and collaborative working arrangements.
- Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care.
- Comply with GMC standards, NHS regulations, and practice policies.
Qualifications
Essential
- Full registration and licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
- MRCGP qualification or equivalent.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a training practice.
- Interest in teaching, mentoring, or GP training.
- Experience of quality improvement projects or service development.
- Special clinical interests that could benefit the practice population.
- Experience of working within a Primary Care Network environment.
- Familiarity with AI-supported technologies and digital innovations in healthcare
