Location: London (Hybrid) Our client is seeking a Privacy Analyst to support the delivery of data protection and privacy compliance across an international organisation.

The successful candidate will work with a range of business functions to help ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, support privacy governance activities, and promote best practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities Maintain and support the organisation's privacy governance framework, including records of processing activities and data inventories.

Assist with privacy risk assessments, including Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and other compliance reviews where required.

Coordinate the handling of Data Subject Rights requests, ensuring timely responses and accurate record-keeping.

Support data retention and deletion initiatives in line with legal and regulatory requirements.

Provide day-to-day guidance to internal stakeholders on data protection and privacy-related matters.

Assist in the development, review and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures and guidance materials.

Work collaboratively with teams across legal, compliance, technology, information security, HR and other business functions to embed privacy by design.

Support investigations into privacy incidents and assist with remediation activities and reporting where appropriate.

Contribute to privacy awareness initiatives, including the delivery of training and communications.

Monitor developments in privacy legislation and regulatory guidance, supporting the implementation of changes where required.

Assist with broader governance, compliance and risk management projects as needed.

About You Previous experience in a privacy, data protection or compliance role.

Good understanding of UK GDPR, EU GDPR and general data protection principles.

Experience supporting privacy processes, including records of processing, DPIAs, data subject rights requests and retention programmes.

Familiarity with privacy management tools (such as One Trust or similar platforms) would be beneficial.

Professional privacy certification (e. g.

CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different business functions.

Proactive, collaborative and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with collaboration and project management tools is advantageous.

Fluent English is required.

Additional language skills are beneficial.
