We are working exclusively with an exciting business in the rail industry who is currently looking for x3 Legal Counsels to join their team based across the UK in either London, Newcastle, York, Birmingham, Manchester, or Bristol. It’s an extremely exciting time to be joining the business as they go through major acquisitions and developments, growing from 12 to 80 employees in the last few years, and continuing to grow every quarter.

You will be reporting into the General Counsel and other internal Senior Counsels. Providing legal support, oversight, and strategy to multiple different businesses within the group. Assisting with a variety of different elements involved in transitions/acquisitions. Identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks across the group.

Qualifications

  • NON-NEGOTIABLE - You must be a Qualified lawyer in the UK

Required Skills

  • Track record of building strong relationships with the ability to engage, inspire and influence stakeholders
  • Dynamic attitude with the ability to find creative solutions
  • Evidence of interpreting and managing complex legal and commercial documents

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in the rail/transport sector

Pay range and compensation package

  • Β£60,000-Β£73,000 salary offering
  • Hybrid working (2/3 days a week on-site)
  • 10% pension contribution
  • Travel to Work paid (if via a train service)
