Following the launch of its flagship product, a fast-growing scale-up is expanding its engineering capability and is looking for a Cloud Architect to shape the architecture of both existing and new cloud-native SaaS products. You will work across the development organisation, partnering with product, engineering, platform, security, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and guide engineering squads through delivery.
Location: Hybrid – two days per week in the Leeds office
To be considered, you should have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience designing cloud-native architectures, ideally on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong software engineering background, with experience building cloud-native applications and coding in Python or similar languages
- Expertise in CI/CD design and implementation using tools such as GitHub, Terraform, or similar
- Solid knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, data flows, and observability
