Infrastructure Support engineer working with a leading global insurance company in the City. Working in a specialist global Infrastructure Support function, you will play a key role in the 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line support of the global IT environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Acting as an escalation point for from 1st and second line support
- Resolving technical incidents at a server configuration level
- Provisioning and resolving issues on cloud hosting environment, this will involve closely collaborating with third party vendor.
- Implementing security strategies, improving and updating operating environments, SQL servers and network infrastructure
Key Skills:
- Experienced in similar roles, a proactive individual who can coordinate with cross functional teams and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Excellent knowledge of VMware, Linux or Microsoft ideally certified
- Experience within Microsoft operating system including Windows 10/11.
- Experience within content and collaboration tools such as O365, Teams or SharePoint
- Ideally some working experience within insurance
