Data Protection Compliance Manager – Education

A leading provider of education services across the UK, working with over 40,000 students is looking to hire a new Data Protection Compliance Manager to support their Head of Compliance with monitoring and developing data protection internally across the company and its subsidiaries.

Role:

• Managing the data protection champion network across all functions.
• Providing training and general advice.
• Designing and delivering training for staff internally and externally.
• Maintaining the RoPA.
• Working on ISO27001, DSARs, third party vendor agreements, and data protection policies.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, you will be working with a variety of different people from board level to educators.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.
• Passion for the education sector and the management of non-teaching functions.
• Dynamism, ambition, and passion.

It would be great if you had experience in the education sector, but not a requirement.
