Our client within the spectator sport industry is recruiting for a Data Protection Manager to support the Head of Data Protection in rolling out a new and improved data protection framework across their consumer-focused business.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Data Protection in the implementation of the global data protection framework
- Manage data protection operations – including handling DSARs, data mapping, DPIAs etc.
- Handle data protection related queries from the business
- Design & deliver data protection training to the business
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments & best practices
Requirements
- C. 4+ years of data protection experience
- Prior experience working in data protection in a dynamic B2C environment is desirable
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing data protection operations (i.e. DSARs, DPIAs, ROPA, data mapping, handling data breaches etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
