A prominent international consultancy is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Protection Advisor to support a growing privacy function. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse client base across sectors including media, tech, entertainment, and more, delivering practical, business-focused data protection advice.

Your Day to Day

  • Deliver outsourced data protection officer and GDPR representative services for a range of dynamic clients.
  • Provide hands-on support with data privacy compliance, data breach response, international data transfers, and records of processing activities.
  • Lead and manage medium-to-large privacy projects, including client onboarding, scoping, and delivery of key outputs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, building strong, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across international offices and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development, training, and best practices.
  • Support business development by identifying client needs and potential areas for growth.

We are looking for:

  • 3 to 6 years’ experience working in data protection or privacy roles within legal, consulting, or in-house settings.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK and EU GDPR, with the ability to interpret and apply regulations to real-world business scenarios.
  • Experience managing privacy workstreams and balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Recognised privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and drafting skills.
  • Experience in sectors such as media, technology, healthcare, or financial services is advantageous.
  • Confident, adaptable, and highly organised, with a collaborative approach.
