I’m currently working with a Tech-Driven Hedge Fund undergoing a major technology transformation who are looking for a Platform Engineer with a breadth of experience across cloud, software and security engineering.
Reporting into the Head of Engineering, this is a pivotal role in building out a brand new Cloud Platform for the entire organization, and an infrastructure capable of servicing and housing all departments ranging from Quants to Cyber to Risk.
A software engineering background with the ability to build and develop robust and secure cloud infrastructures is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of AWS and building platforms subject to financial regulatory requirements.
- In-depth cyber security experience and building platforms/infrastructure with security built in at code level.
- Expert level knowledge of Terraform, Python and open-source databases (Postgres & Clickhouse a bonus).
- Experience working in fast-paced, top tier financial institutions.
