A global leader in Accounting and Professional Services is looking for an Associate Director or Senior Manager for their Midlands Corporate Finance Advisory team. Our client requires an M&A expert from a corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity background to help spearhead the delivery of their current deal flow, and shape the next phase of their growth – either based from their Birmingham or Nottingham office.

This is an exciting and pivotal time to join the Midlands team in a period of significant growth, high-quality deal pipelines, and dynamic owner-managed businesses and private equity clients.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day project management of transactions of varying types, including selling to trade and private equity, and driving them to a successful conclusion.
  • Lead the preparation of key marketing materials.
  • Oversee/perform financial analysis.
  • Provide technical insight and identify key business issues.
  • Support and contribute to business development activity (attend networking events, build relationships with prospective clients, convert new opportunities).
  • Prepare pitches, proposals, and wider marketing initiatives.
  • Take on broader departmental responsibilities such as recruitment, mentoring, people management, and developing junior team members.

Proven experience across all stages of M&A transactions within a corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity environment. A recognized professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent) is preferable, but candidates who can demonstrate depth of transaction experience will also be considered.
