1st Line Support Engineer – Financial Services – Up to £35K
A leading private equity firm with a strong track record of growth and success is expanding its Helpdesk function. We’re looking for a motivated 1st Line Support / Helpdesk Engineer to join our team and help deliver high-quality support to our users, ensuring reliability, security, and excellent service.
About the Role:
As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for IT support within the business. You’ll manage support tickets, communicate directly with users, and resolve issues related to laptop setups, Microsoft 365, and general IT security. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career—whether just starting out or with limited experience—who is eager to grow in a dynamic Financial Services environment.
Location & Salary:
This is a London-based role , requiring four days per week in the office .
Salary is £30,000 to £35,000 , depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of IT support experience , ideally with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Office 365, Active Directory, laptop configuration)
- IT-related education (college or university level)
- Strong passion for supporting users and delivering excellent service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
