The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Main responsibilities include:
- Accounts: Limited companies, LLPs, sole traders and partnerships, pension schemes.
- Complete planning sections in accordance with office guidelines.
- Prepare and monitor budgets.
- Prepare accounts from incomplete records or client trial balances (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, etc).
- Liaise directly with clients and settle queries.
- Review with supervisor and complete file including reporting pack.
Audit:
- Internal and external audits.
- Planning, controls and risk assessment, setting materiality and sample sizes.
- Fieldwork testing including stock take attendance and other site verifications.
- Analytical reviews.
- Completion of audit files.
Tax:
- Prepare personal tax returns.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
- Prepare P11ds.
General:
- Occasional advisory work.
- Deal with correspondence from clients.
- Review work of juniors, resolve technical queries and ensure the file is complete and all review points addressed before it is passed to the manager.
- Ensure effective on the job training occurs for all semi-seniors and juniors.
- Be aware of other LG services and products which may be appropriate to your clients.
Qualification and Skills:
- ACCA/ACA fully qualified would be desirable.
- Accounting and finance degree would be desirable.
- At least 18 months post membership experience.
- Good up-to-date CPE and recent developments in accounting standards.
- Experience of OMB's covering a range of industries.
- Computer packages – Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage Line 50, IIRIS, CCH, VT Transactions, Xero, Virtual cabinet, Quickbooks.

- Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure.
