We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse in Stevenage on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to work for a highly regarded local employer within their busy warehouse and distribution operation.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and prepared accurately for dispatch.
You'll be working within a busy warehouse environment, so we're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and happy to be on their feet throughout the shift.
What You Will Be Doing
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Packing products securely ready for dispatch
- Moving and replenishing stock around the warehouse
- Preparing orders for delivery
- Checking products and orders for accuracy
- Loading and unloading goods
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Working efficiently to meet daily targets
- Keeping warehouse areas clean, tidy and organised
- Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience is preferred
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Positive and hardworking attitude
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good team player
- Must be able to work both the 6:00am2:00pm and 2:00pm10:00pm shifts
