Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating shift pattern of 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm, you'll be joining a busy production team where quality, teamwork and safety are essential.
Production Operative – Benefits Offered
- £26,312 starting salary
- Salary increases to £26,768 following successful completion of a 3-month probation period

Production Operative – Job Overview
- Operate production machinery and equipment to manufacture high-quality plastic products
- Assist with the moulding process, including preparing moulds, weighing raw materials and removing finished products
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet required quality standards
- Trim, finish and inspect products ready for the next stage of production
- Record production information, measurements and quality checks accurately
- Identify and report any machinery faults or product quality issues
- Work towards individual and team production targets
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised production environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE
- Support the wider production team with additional duties as required
Production Operative – Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential
- Comfortable operating machinery and undertaking practical, hands‑on work
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills and ability to meet production targets
- Able to work rotating shifts of 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm
- Full valid driving licence
