An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PCB Assembler to join a successful and well-established electronics manufacturing business in Stevenage. This is a fantastic role for someone with PCB assembly experience who enjoys working in a quality-focused production environment.
About the Role
Working within the Conventional Assembly department, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards and carrying out a variety of associated manufacturing tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble PCB products from assembly drawings and build packs
- Pre-form, insert and crop component leads using hand tools
- Identify electronic components including resistors, capacitors and ICs
- Carry out hand placement of surface mount components
- Undertake SMT wet board assembly
- Prepare and wire PCBs as required
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Follow ESD and static control procedures
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous PCB Assembly experience
- Previous PCB Rework experience
- Ability to read assembly drawings and build instructions
- Understanding of SMT component recognition and number codes
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
