Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a full-time warehouse role? This leading organisation in Letchworth is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team immediately on a temp to perm basis!
Location: Letchworth
Working hours: 8:30am-5pm Mon - Thurs, 8.30am-4pm Friday.
Warehouse Operative – Key Responsibilities
- Preparing goods and processing purchase orders
- Inspecting materials and assisting with stock checks
- Picking, packing, and supporting all warehouse operations
- Checking and producing consignment paperwork
- Inputting delivery details onto the system using MS Excel
- Ensuring all goods received are checked and dispatched correctly
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams
Warehouse Operative – Skills and Experience required
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy boxes
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Minimum GCSE level education or equivalent
- MUST HOLD A CURRENT COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT LICENCE
