We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team for an initial two‑week assignment, with the potential for the role to be extended for the right candidate.
About the Role
As a Temporary Warehouse Operative, you'll support the day‑to‑day warehouse operation, ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately.
This is a hands on role that combines warehouse duties with Reach Truck operation.
Duties will include
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Operating a Reach Truck to move stock safely around the warehouse
- Booking in deliveries and assisting with goods in
- Carrying out stock counts and inventory checks
- Replenishing stock locations
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Ensuring orders are picked accurately
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse team as required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous warehouse experience
- Valid Reach Truck licence (essential)
- Experience with goods in, picking, packing, and stock control
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Available to start immediately
