Industrial Cleaner Position available with a small productive team based in Stevenage.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.45am – 17.15pm (with one hour lunch break).

Job Type: Temp.

A well established, fast growing and highly respected manufacturing business is seeking a proactive and reliable Industrial cleaner to join their expanding team. This is a varied and hands on position that is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being busy, taking ownership of their work and stepping up to support different areas when needed. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, comfortable working independently, using initiative and taking on additional tasks as the business grows.

Job Overview: As a Warehouse Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for deep cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards across the warehouse.

Duties will include:

  • Using jet wash equipment to clean and sterilise warehouse areas
  • Deep cleaning industrial ovens and large-scale equipment
  • Sweeping and maintaining cleanliness across the warehouse floor
  • Cleaning under racking and hard to reach areas
  • Using industrial mops and cleaning tools
  • Pumping water from drains following cleaning processes
  • Moving pallets using a pump truck
  • Supporting general warehouse organisation and housekeeping
  • Carrying out manual handling and physical lifting

This role requires someone comfortable working in an environment that may include noise, strong smells and a fast paced workload.
