Warehouse Cleaner
£12.71 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, Ongoing Long-Term Temporary Opportunity
We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Cleaner to join our client’s busy manufacturing site in Letchworth Garden City. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity offering regular full-time hours, a consistent early shift and a lunchtime finish every Friday.
If you have previous cleaning experience and are happy working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment, this could be a great long-term opportunity.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Cleaner, you will play an important part in keeping the site clean, safe and presentable for employees and visitors. You’ll look after a variety of areas including offices, toilets, kitchens, communal spaces and the warehouse itself.
The role will also involve cleaning large pieces of industrial machinery, so you’ll need to be comfortable working around warehouse equipment and within an active manufacturing environment.

- Friday, 6:30am – 12:00pm
- 30-minute lunch break
- Two 15-minute tea breaks each day

Key Responsibilities
- Keeping offices and general work areas clean and tidy
- Cleaning toilets, washrooms and communal facilities
- Maintaining kitchens, staff rooms and shared spaces
- Cleaning large industrial warehouse machinery
- Hoovering, sweeping and mopping floors
- Polishing and wiping down surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Keeping high-touch areas clean and sanitised
- Replenishing cleaning products and supplies
- Keeping cleaning equipment organised and safely stored
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the site
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous commercial, industrial, warehouse or office cleaning experience
- Confident working within a busy warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Comfortable cleaning around large machinery
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and organise daily cleaning tasks
- Happy carrying out physical and repetitive duties
- Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety
- Available for ongoing, long-term temporary work
