This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known membership organisation known locally for adding value. You will work as part of a small team responsible for new member (B2B) acquisition, growth and retention with a key focus on acquisition in this position. Please note to apply for this role you will need to live in Hertfordshire, be a driver with your own transport.

This role involves working as part of a small team responsible for new member acquisition. You will be responsible for building strong long-standing relationships – usually with company owners and senior stakeholders. This role involves booking and attending face-to-face meetings, attending events and generally proactively engaging with potential members.

Duties will include:

  • Identifying sales opportunities, proactively contacting potential businesses to discuss the benefits of membership
  • Attending networking events
  • Attending face-to-face meetings with clients
  • Discussing the benefits of membership with potential members
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Achieving predetermined sales targets in terms of revenue and meetings
  • Working as part of a team to achieve company goals and targets

Experienced Needed:

  • Professional and business-focused approach
  • Extensive B2B sales experience – familiar liaising at a senior level – CEO, Company Owner, Director level
  • Confident in both telephone and face-to-face sales
  • Proactive, driven and determined to achieve results
  • Driver with own car is essential
